Moth and Rust is a South Dakota heavy metal band influenced by Doom and Death metal. Currently consisting of two members, Cris Somnus on drums and Nekron Iblis taking lead guitar and vocals.

A new recording was made on 3/2/2025. This is taken from one of our sessions. It's all done live in one take. We had recorded the whole set, and even over 25 minutes of extra improv. I realized afterward this would make a great CD. After I got Cris' permission, I took the recordings and chopped em up in order to distribute.
Really hoping we get some gigs this summer. That would make it all worth it.
